What We Do

As a senior vice present, you will work with the rest of the senior management team in order to develop objectives and strategies to achieve them, as well as identify obstacles. Annual targets and new markets will be identified, and you will monitor whether the strategies are working towards achieving these. You will also manage the various divisions of the company you work for. Finally, you will be responsible for financial and accounting analysis, while monitoring losses and profits.

How to Become

Becoming a senior vice president is down to a combination of soft skills, formal education and experience. Essentially, you must be able to prove previous success to be considered.

Training & Certification Requirements

Generally speaking, you will need to hold a master’s degree in a field such as finance or management. Additionally, you will be required to hold at least 10 years of experience related to the field of your organization, with many now seeking those who have at least 15 years of experience.
