How to Become

While becoming a senior accountant is mainly down to experience and proving your ability, you must also have excellent leadership qualities, as you will transcend the role of a regular accountant.

Training & Certification Requirements

To become a senior account, you must hold a master’s degree with an accounting specialization. In very rare occasions, you may grow into the position from a bachelor’s degree, but most businesses will want you to enroll in a master’s at that point.
