What We Do
A treasury manager researches legal, regulatory and financial changes and reports on these if they affect the business. They also monitor and support the treasury, credit tracking and insurance, as well as monitoring and providing timely reports on financial forecasts, cash flow and available cash. This is done both periodically and on a day to day basis. Finally, they work together with external parties in the world of finance to make sure awareness and accounts are maintained.

Generally speaking, you will work in an office environment. Standard business hours can be expected, with some overtime.
How to Become
As a treasury manager, you have to be adaptable and you must be able to properly handle confidential data. You also need excellent management skills as well as written and verbal communication skills. Furthermore, you must be results orientated and very organized.
Training & Certification Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in a field such as business or finance is the minimum requirement. Usually, employers also look for those who have experience in a relevant field.
