What We Do
As a technical consultant you will troubleshoot and fix equipment and technical problems both on-site and remotely. You will also be responsible for the installation, upgrades, maintenance and evaluation of services and products. Finally, you will go to customers’ sites and provide them with the necessary technical training to manage their equipment.
Work Environment
Technical consultants usually work in an office environment. However, they also provide training, for which significant travel is required.
How to Become

Training & Certification Requirements
A minimum educational requirement is to hold a bachelor’s degree. However, as the world of technology develops rapidly, the education of a technical consultant must too. This is why many now hold master’s or even doctoral degrees in fields such as engineering or computer science.
