There are both transfer credit options and military tuition discount options available for this degree.   • Computer security specialist: you will be responsible for coordinating, planning and maintaining the information security systems in an organization.   • Homeland security officer: in this role, you will be charged with making sure U.S. data and resources are kept completely secure should a disaster happen. You will be trained to anticipate and react to various disasters, including tornadoes, hurricanes, terrorism and earthquakes. You will make sure that the nation is less vulnerable should a catastrophic event occur. Much of your job will focus on research, as well as on developing new and analyzing existing security technology that could be of benefit should a national emergency occur.
